As a full-service machine shop, the Metalex Prototype & Critical Service Center supports clients who require 24/7 response for alterations, repairs and replacement parts.

This technology center has the latest 5-axis milling, turning, grinding and welding equipment operated by an extremely talented team of machinists, which allows us to serve a customer base that requires difficult parts with short delivery times, especially mission-critical prototype development parts and projects. With conversational controls on advanced CNC machining equipment and a team of highly skilled tool makers, the team at Metalex has the flexibility they need to rapidly respond to customers as well as internal needs for rush fixturing, parts and assembly requirements that may unexpectedly arise.

In addition, this technology center serves as a critical part of Metalex’ apprenticeship program, where new team members are required to learn and apply the fundamentals of machining at the hands-on level before they move to other areas of the shop.
